- Prepare and inspect parts, components and assemblies for CMM, and report on the results
- Develop, maintain, generate CMM programs for inspection of components/assemblies
- Ability to train others on use of CMM and other inspection tools
- Generate instructions for set-up and operation of CMM programs, perform inspection of components/assemblies, perform dimensional analysis to help identify potential quality issues
- Ability to discuss results of CMM inspections with engineering/others
- Technical support for all dimensional issues
- Assist in evaluating non-conforming components/assemblies
- Perform internal audits as required, report all findings
- Communicate drawing discrepancies to Engineering
- Report violations of ISO standard to Quality Manager
- Generate NCRs and assist in the resolution of non-conformances
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Complete understanding of GD&T
- Proficiency in PC-DMIS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Detail oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication, organization, problem-solving and interpersonal skill
- Use of precision inspection measuring devices
- Certified set-up skills and knowledge of best practices on CMM equipment
- 3+ years of documented programming experience (PC-DMIS)
- AUKOM and/or ASQ CQT Certification is a plus!
