- Translate business requests and KPIs into relevant data sources to be able to adequately build and design reports.
- Maintain regular touchpoints with business stakeholders to ensure existing reports and dashboards are functioning and meeting the business needs
- Manage database clusters and failover scenarios
- SQL server performance analysis and tuning using diagnostic tools
- SQL server job automation using SQL agents
- Backup and recovery of large databases
- Disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Database administration in virtual environments like VMWare
- SQL Data warehouse performance tuning
- SQL index design and tuning
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Maintain and customize dashboards in Power BI/Tableau/similar tool
- Review and implement application API integrations to add additional sources to the dataset
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Excellent communication skills - ability to understand the requirements and implement or present the story in a meaningful way
- Good program management and change management skills - ability to work in very agile environment with quick turnaround
