A small software company is looking for a 100% remote (within US) DevOps Engineer and is offering up to $140,000 on a base salary. This engineer is someone with a background working with AWS, Linux-based systems, and CI/CD pipelines, looking for a chance to improve their IaC and configuration management skills, and help to build out the company's Kubernetes platform. Someone experienced with Terraform, Chef, and Python, who would like to focus on automating infrastructure, improving monitoring, and building out CI/CD will fit in perfectly here. Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience
- Proficient in Linux/AWS environment
- Strong understanding of or hands-on with CI/CD pipelines
- Configuration Management: Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or Cloudformation
- Understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Scripting (Python preferred)
- Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes
