Title: Junior Product Manager Pay Rate: $38/ hour on W2 Location: Chicago, IL Contract to Hire Opportunity: 6 months Must be able to work on W2 without sponsorship Job Description:
  • Looking for a Junior Product Manager with 1-3 years of experience in Marketing and/or Communications to help inform and guide the product strategy of several technology solutions for airport operations.
  • This Junior Product Manager will own strategic analysis for the products by identifying and quantifying opportunities to improve products and help define key requirements.
  • Additionally, the Junior PM will help design and develop product release materials, communications and pitch decks for stakeholders and users to help further drive the success of the product.
  • As an agile product manager, you will be a close partner with engineering and act as the voice of the customer and the business for engineering. You will have insight into all phases of the product development cycle.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide product demos and presentations to clients
  • Monitor and proactively communicate product health through metrics
  • Help pitch new opportunities with persuasive problem-driven product messaging and positioning
  • Build compelling content, messaging and enablement assets that help our audience understand and adopt product functionality
  • Handle the distribution and centralization of assets used to educate and evangelize our products functionalities across core-partners and users
  • Support new efforts and promote mutually successful user engagements and expansion of product capabilities
  • Participate in requirements gathering workshops with business partners and product
  • Work with team members to define potential solutions
  • cross-functionally with project management, business analysts, design, user experience and delivery
  • Work closely with internal partners (Operations, R&D, Customer Service Innovation) to align business targets and drive key results
  • Ability to manage product vision, personas (user roles, needs, wants and goals), user story mapping, backlog, value proposition/lean canvas, roadmap, iterative releases, product acceptance criteria, and ensuring associated business benefit value
  • Be the day-to-day representative of the business and product management to engineering and development teams within a Scrum framework - managing the detailed planning and delivery of features matched to market & customer requirements
  • Assist in creating a product roadmap that includes milestones and prioritized deliverables which includes planning for compliance with standard, remediation of technical debt, and to expose opportunities for application rationalization
  • Employ a data-driven approach to contribute and prioritize market data, customer insights and actionable research to improve designs, prioritize features, and guide the roadmap to discover areas for product improvements to fuel user growth
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business with a technical background
  • 2+ years experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager or a similar technology or marketing role
  • 2+ years experience working with enterprise cloud services or software
