TITLE: Sr. Data Engineer
Location: Chicago Salary- 130-150k+What You'll Do:- Designing and developing highly usable and scalable new application capabilities and enhancing existing capabilities to meet the needs of Investment Banking
- Collaborate across diverse engineering teams and disciplines to solve challenging problems for available applications
- Accountability for the quality, usability, performance, and overall end to end of features
- Deploy and support our services for partner teams and business
- Ensuring high reliability of applications and services through intelligent monitoring and alerting
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Technologies
- 5+ years of extensive experience in MS SQL Server, Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Crystal Reports
- Extensive hands-on experience implementing data migration and data processing using Azure services
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DB, Azure DW, Azure Synapse, Azure Storage, Serverless Architecture, Azure Analysis Service, Azure Functions, Event Hub, CI/CD etc.
- Proficient in Python and experience with Databricks
- Experience with SDLC including System Analysis, User Requirements Gathering, Design, Coding, Implementation and Testing
- Experience with implementing web-based Intranet, Internet, and Client/Server applications
- Experience with Source Controls Tools e.g. TFS and Git
- Able to work with large amounts of information and see the bigger picture.
- Expert quantitative reasoning, problem solving and analytical skills
