Exemption is available to qualified candidates as a reasonable accommodation.What You'll Bring:- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering or other related field or certification
- Strong understanding of various Linux & Windows operating systems
- Experience with Linux, Python, SQL or PowerShell
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, HTTP protocol, and one or more web services (REST, SOAP, etc.)
- The ability to be a self-starter and the willingness to be challenged
- Ability to work independently, within a team and within a matrix environment
- Gain hands on exposure with TransUnion's security team and a real world impact on the development of code and processes that further drive the vulnerability threat management efforts
- Learn how a Global Security organization deals with dynamic risk
- Exposure to open source and commercial security tools
- Conduct research upon cyber security events, conduct analysis, and develop finished intelligence reporting.
- Assist in evaluating the current security posture against threats posed to the organization and make recommendations.
- Participate in evaluations of current and emerging technologies and assist in improving processes
