Application Development Specialist (Accenture LLP; Chicago, IL): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Specialist in Chicago, IL, and the job duties are as follows:Develop, design, and maintain software products or systems to support client strategies.
Analyze, design, build, and test new components or enhancements to existing modules, under direct supervision.
Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications, as directed.
Maintain applications according to SLAs.
Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications, under direct supervision.
Understand strategic direction set by management as it relates to team goals.
Seek guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments and develop skills needed to execute responsibilities.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Applications, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in the IT consulting industry.Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:SAP BO BI Tools;
SAP Web Intelligence;
SAP Universe Designer;
SAP Lumira;
SAP Dashboards;
SAP BO Central Management Console;
Oracle SQL;
Data Visualization;
Working with offshore teams and managing deliveries in distributed environment;
Utilizing Change Control and Development Methodologies; and
Implementing application architecture and designing, coding, and testing software applications.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
