Are you an Applications Architect with experience working on enterprise software and data solutions? Our global accounting client is looking to hire an Applications Architect!The Applications Architect will work in a contract capacity, 40 hours a week for 4-6 months with strong potential to convert to full-time!They will work on the design, development, architecture, integration, and maintenance of enterprise applications. They should have strong experience with the Azure Cloud, DevOps, CI/CD and service oriented architecture (SOA). - Create, maintain, and govern technical architecture reflecting the Business and IT needs.
- Perform platform planning and drive technical roadmap with vendor, suggest improvements to increase efficiencies.
- Collaborate with business sponsors, technology management, executives, end users and business SMEs.
- Drive firm application policies and standards for design, integration, scalability, navigation, maintainability, and reuse.
- Develop, maintain and evangelize application architecture strategy and assist app dev teams with best practices.
- Work with vendors and consulting partners to research emerging technologies and trends that might help the team.
