You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to uncover insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and influence strategic decision-making.Key job responsibilitiesA Day in the Life: As our Business Intelligence Engineer, you will:
Work closely with program managers to develop BI and analytics solutions that provide visibility into transportation issues, opportunities, and performance
Build and analyze key metrics to uncover trends, identify root causes, and surface improvement opportunities
Own the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, reports, visualizations, and dashboards to drive data-driven decision-making
Create and optimize transportation metrics to deliver actionable insights related to operational excellence and customer experience
Collaborate with engineers to architect and implement automated data solutions
Develop a deep understanding of Amazon's supply chain and transportation ecosystem
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
Experience building and maintaining basic data artifacts (e.g., ETL, data models, queries)
Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports
Knowledge of improving code quality and optimizing BI processes (e.g., speed, cost, reliability)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or R)
Knowledge of how to improve code quality and optimizes BI processes (e.g. speed, cost, reliability)

The base pay for this position ranges from $74,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $165,600/year in our highest geographic market.
