- Creation of platform specific Azure Resource Manager template to deploy the platform service type in alignment with defined use case(s) and implementation guidelines
- Creation of reference parameter file for template
- Creation of low level sections of service documentation (template usage, parameters, and value details)
- Creation of resource specific unit (pester) tests to validate parameters for target template
- Creation of pre-deployment, and post-deployment enrichment scripting necessary to conform with the implementation guidelines.
- Deployment of sample and test deployments to validate solution functionality
- Assist security engineer with creation of deployment scenarios to validate functionality of Azure Policies to enforce implementation guidelines
- Desired Skills:
- Hands on experience with a number of platform services and how they operate
- Experience with Azure Resource Manager definitions
- Experience with Powershell and unit testing or a comparable object oriented language
- Experience with Git / Azure DevOps/ Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Understanding of continuous deployment patterns
- Familiarity with Azure Policies
