Discover what you can do at IBM.At IBM Services our Complex Solution Architects (CSA) provides services to clients in the solutioning and delivery of complex projects/programs for cloud and non-cloud environment, including complex application and/or system integration projects. CSAs work with the business as well as IT to breakdown complex business problems into software or process solutions.IBM Services is looking for strong CSAs with extensive experience in defining and building solution in Azure. The CSA should have technical depth and strong interpersonal skills. He/She should be passionate about working with customers to help build applications at scale in the Azure Cloud. Enabling Innovation through Azure services and having breadth across technology stacks with deep hands on skills is a must. The CSA will build architectures & provide prescriptive guidance across network, storage, operating systems, virtualization, RDBMS & NoSQL databases, Analytics, mid-tier technologies that include application integration, in-memory caches, and security.The CSA is expected to have deep experience in the below areas
Experience in planning, designing and implementing IT capabilities and migrating Workloads/applications to Azure
Ability to architect microservices based solution utilizing serverless Azure Functions
Deep understanding, design and development experience of cloud solutions with Microsoft Azure Compute and Storage Services, Azure Analytics, Cosmo DB, Azure API Management, Azure AD, Azure Container Registry and Azure App Services
An understanding of IoT technologies including edge compute solutions
Experience with private and public cloud architectures
Experience in software development including roles as a senior architect in .Net, Azure Technology stack
Implementation experience with distributed applications; working knowledge of software development, DevOps tools and methodologies
Experience with traditional SDLC and Agile methodology as required
Experience in knowledge transfer process
Deployment and orchestration technologies (e.g. Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenStack, Jenkins, etc.)
OpenShift on Azure, AKS, Azure Functions
SDLC Tools: JIRA, GitHub
Integration Tools: Jenkins, Nexus and Bamboo
Testing Tools: Jenkins, HP Fortify, Serenity, Swagger, Cucumber, Selenium, SonarQube, JUnit, Pyunit, Open SCAP and Sensu
Search Technologies: Lucene and Elasticsearch
Relational Databases: Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, Postgres SQL
NoSQL databases: Cassandra, MongoDB, Cloudant
Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) Tools: Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, Talend and Boomi
Implementing big data analytics w/ technologies like Hadoop, Spark, EMR, RedShift, and Kinesis.
Set technology direction for Cloud solutions
Manage and implement integrations between internal and external solutions
Serves as the technical liaison to the Talent Acquisition product owner
Collaborate with domain architecture leadership
Author simple, clear requirements through user stories and technical specifications
Experience is creating end to end blueprint, estimating the effort, pricing and risk assessment of the solution
Excellent communication skills with an ability to right level conversations
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

At least 2 year experience in designing secure scalable, elastic architectures
At least 2 year experience in architecting in enterprises using Agile methodologies

At least 2 year experience in web services technologies- Restful services
At least 3 year experience in distributed systems, databases and search systems
At least 3 year experience in .Net Platforms
