- The Information Technology Services (ITS) Department within the client is seeking a consultant to perform the duties of a Data Governance Analyst specifically for its Data Governance and Integrity initiative.
- This project will focus on defining data governance for the University while at the same time identifying any data anomalies, errors or issues within its production databases.
- The Data Governance Analyst will be the primary technologist that will create the governance structure and data cleansing strategy/cleanup processes for the core data.
- Demonstrated data governance, data architecture, data scientist or data cleansing experience of more than 3 years.
- Excellent client facing skills including exceptional oral and written communication skills. Regular communication in writing and in-person to end users and resource contributors about data governance and process.
- Ability to work on cross functional teams and/or with groups across multiple work disciplines.
- Ability to create data management goals, and establish an enterprise data dictionary and/or standard data terminology.
- Experience with building the communication campaign to promote the adoption and education of data standards and practices.
- Knowledge of Information Security practices regarding data access and data loss prevention requirements
- Must be detail oriented, results focused.
