- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or business or finance
- Work with key business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers and data architects to model current and new data.
- This role is a senior level position responsible for developing data models to support cloud data platform s.
- The overall objective of this role is to provide data architecture and modeling expertise and lead the design/development of cloud data models to support analytics needs
- Serve as a subject matter expert in enterprise conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Lead data modelers on large scale cloud data warehouse projects
- Develop data architecture, best practices, and standards
- Extend industry standard data models for retail/pharmacy data domains
- Partner with client business leaders, process owners and SME's to design, create, deploy, and manage data models
- Resolve variety of high impact problems through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
- Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of cloud data platforms and ensure design aligns with the overall architecture
- Expert understanding of cloud data integration architecture, and cloud services
- 10+ years of data architecture and hands-on data modeling experience
- 10+ years of experience working in large scale data warehousing projects
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Data Warehousing including data modeling tools such as ERwin, and ERStudio
- Minimum 3 years' experience designing and deploying data structures for Big Data/cloud DW environments such as Hadoop/Hive, HBase, and Azure
- 2+ years of cloud data platform development experience
- Cloud certification is a huge plus
- Experience leading data analytics projects in the retail, healthcare, or pharmacy data domain
- Ability to lead team of data engineering developers
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
