This role will be required to be onsite in the Chicago IL office.
Job Overview: - Primarily be responsible for identifying & remediating security vulnerabilities in our endpoint environment, patching, providing technical support to our users, and assist with managing our desktop infrastructure. -Identify security vulnerabilities/issues, perform risk assessments and evaluate remediation efforts within the desktop engineering space -Ensure that OS security best practices are implemented across all operating systems -Work alongside the Desktop Engineering team to reviewing patch management on both the OS and application levels -Assist with the security aspect of desktop software (2FA solutions, SSO, etc.) -Review and correlate security logs and events on desktop and laptop systems -Assist in internal security issues, providing forensic assistance and educational/root cause determination Qualifcations: -3+ years of desktop support experience with performing risk assessments & remediation efforts-Familiarity with Bash scripting and/or PowerShell scripting-Familiarity with provisioning systems such as SCCM, Ansible, and JAMF-Familiarity with Windows 10, MacOS 10.15 and later-Working knowledge of Virtual technologies such as VMware-Demonstrated ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues EOE Statement: Specialist Staffing Group is an equal opportunity employer.
