Title: Developer Mandatory skills: API, RAML, proxy API, API gateways, API development,Mule, Mulesoft, Mule Runtime, Platform API,technical design, technical issues, Advancement Systems business process,MongoDB, Redis,Service Management, ITIL process,production systems, Gateway tools, Research, systems applications,business users, business requirements,Service Oriented Architecture, SOA,database, data integrity, data mapping, metadata Description: A minimum of 5 years development, implementation, support, and maintenance of a vendor supported systemA minimum of 3 years as a Mulesoft developer supporting production systems troubleshooting within the Mule Runtime, Platform API and Gateway tools.A minimum of 3 years experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) A minimum of 3 years experience working with databases and data integrity. A minimum of 3 years experience in data mapping and metadata conceptsA minimum of 3 years experience using object oriented programming languages such as Java or C#A minimum of 3 years experience working with REST / SOAP based web servicesStrong oral and written communication skills.Preferred:Experience with Mule 4 Experience with NOSQL databases such as MongoDB or RedisExperience supporting advancement systems applicationsExperience in a Research 1 client supporting an integrated vendor supported systems.Experience with higher education.Responsibilities:This role will be responsible for integration development including but not limited to the following activities:Design efficient and detailed APIs in RAML using an API first approachBuild high quality System, Process and Experience APIs that are scalable, extendable and reusableEmploy custom policies, frameworks and components as needed to solve complex problems elegantlyConstruct logical and reusable Mule flows using connectors, components, DataWeave and Java as necessaryCreate custom, wrapper and proxy APIs for automation, integration and orchestration o Set up message exchanges and queues for event driven publisher and subscriber applicationsWork with embedded API gateways with various load balancing topologiesSetup security models, policies and permissions for APIs and exchange assetsUtilize CI/CD tools and repositories like Git and Jenkins to build and deploy applicationsWork across various integration platforms and with the associated stakeholders/business users to translate business requirements into creative, scalable and efficient technical designsUnderstand and follow company policies surrounding data governance, security, and API development o Identify and resolve technical issues.Work with the software vendors and other IT Services departments to determine best method to resolve issuesDevelop an understanding of Advancement Systems business processesDevelop an understanding of Service Management concepts/ITIL processes VIVA USA is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a professional working environment that is free from discrimination and unlawful harassment.
