Job Description

Overview:The Business Development Director will lead Performics’ efforts in reaching out to and communicating with potential clients and fitting their digital needs to Performics’ service offerings.

Role Objectives:

· Assist with writing, editing, and distribution of RFI/RFP responses

· Manage new business status meetings and issue weekly new business status reports

· Ongoing innovation around the business development process to improve demonstration of value to prospects/clients

Chicago Sales Director

· Activate the U.S. outbound sales plan through targeted outreach to potential clients

· Research emerging companies within each targeted vertical for proactive prospecting

· Develop customized sales collateral to reach prospects thru creative messaging and thought leadership

· Manage and elevate business development content database for U.S and global teammates

· Assist in creating overarching storyline, strategy, and end-to-end solutions for pitches

· Lead all aspects of prospective client relationships from outreach/prospecting to negotiation/close through transitioning the account to a full service team

· Assist in creation and execution of a yearly business development strategy

· Guide Performics’ Client Solutions Consultants to elevate the quality of all deliverables and constantly improve our process and professionalism

· Manage the development of the U.S. Business Development Coordinator

· Participate in and lead U.S. business development process as pitch captain on select opportunities

New York Sales Director

· Maintain a pipeline of east coast-based business development opportunities and work to capture and convert new clients

· Develop and maintain relationship other Publicis Groupe entities to drive cooperative pitch opportunities

· Research, develop, and produce PFX sister agency roadshow for collaboration efforts

· Liaise with U.S. Marketing to create customized outreach for selected prospects

· Research emerging companies within each targeted vertical for proactive prospecting

· Develop customized sales collateral to reach prospects through creative messaging and thought leadership

· Assist in creating overarching storyline, strategy, and end-to-end solutions for pitches

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)

· 4-7 years of relevant sales experience

· Ability to work effectively in a cross-collaboration environment and bring ideas together for a better solution

· Strong project management skills, results-oriented team player

· Great “people skills” and ability to build relationships

· Fluency in Power Point, Word, and social media

· Graphic design or video production skills a plus

· Strong attention to detail
