As a State & Local Business Development Director, you will build strong, trusted relationships with clients around the implementation of various technologies such as Salesforce, Adobe, AWS, Google and Microsoft and be the primary liaison with the client executives and project sponsors. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers within the State & Local industry, assessing their business needs, and translating those needs into solutions. Your Impact:
  • Communicate with clients at all levels, assess their business needs, translate these needs into technical solutions, and then accurately scope and estimate implementation effort and negotiate/close deals
  • Meet and exceed services booking and revenue quotas
  • Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities in accounts
  • Network within the industry, market, and accounts to bring new client opportunities to the S&L team
  • Identify/develop key partner strategies for specific customers and market segments
  • Quickly grasp client business and technical requirements and fit professional services technical solutions around those specific needs
  • Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successful close (including proposal development, implementation estimating, scope construction, and client presentations)
  • Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations
  • Add industry specific and technology solution expertise to the sales process
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business
Qualifications

Your Skills & Experience:
  • Extensive CRM consulting experience and/or successful sales career with quota achievement
  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
  • Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, and ERP
  • Analytical approach to identifying business challenges; visionary and creative approach towards their solutions
  • System implementation experience
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Unquestionable integrity, credibility and character
  • Openness to travel and work at client site when necessary

  • Hands on selling of professional services experience that demonstrates a proven ability to accurately scope, estimate and propose Salesforce projects
  • Understanding of agile approach
Additional Information

Pay Range: $129,000 - $252,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
