The Software Developer (Front-End) is responsible for creating compelling, interactive, customerfacingonline solutions. This role requires strong programming expertise, understanding of contentmanagement systems (CMS) along with an appreciation for subjective considerations related toUser Experience (UX) - while this position is not expected to act as a senior UX designer, apassion for clean, intuitive design is critical to the front-end Software Developer's success.

Job Details

Hands-on, direct software development (front-end) leveraging appropriate programming languages(see next section, Job Requirements) Work closely with Engineering team to coordinate on new and recurring responsibilities Perform Administrator-level design and support within the WordPress content management system Design, maintain, update all front-end components across all online assets Deliver final online solutions, focused on business objectives, client input and User Experiencebest practices Build useable & reusable code for future use (enhancements) Optimize web pages for speed, usability, and scalability across all major web browsers (standardand mobile) Engage with internal stakeholders to understand and deliver stand-alone, cross-functional webbasedsolutions Create online solutions focused on intuitive design, ease of use and speed - culminating in apositive, seamless experience for all online visitors Review, prioritize and correct bugs as they are identified Communicate any day-to-day or recurring concerns related to online system performance and/ordesign to leadership Assist with implementation of various online projects per management's direction, perform otherduties as assigned by management Be an agent for change Be a self-starter within a collaborative environment Be a champion for usability and clean, intuitive design Move quickly but in a controlled, thoughtful manner Embrace innovation and illustrate its importance to others
