Top tier Investment firm seeks a Front End Developer to join Fixed Income Technology team. Will develop interfaces for the front office. This person will lead the development of web tools used by Portfolio Managers and Traders.
Responsibilities:- Develop robust, architecturally sound front end solutions for the fixed income front office teams
- Ensuring high performance on mobile and desktop
- Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API
- Collaborate with the stakeholders, the users, the build team and other development partners to implement state-of-the-art user experiences.
- Execute the firm’s strategic investment technology strategy
- Contribute to new technology initiatives while supporting existing technology
- Collaborate within the development team to drive ideal technology solutions
- Seamlessly partner with Application Service Delivery group, who have accountability for Delivery & Service Management
- BS or BA Degree or relevant work experience
- Experience developing applications in Angular
- Experience using .Net Core and/or python
- Working Knowledge of Databases and SQL
- Experience developing on Azure or AWS is a plus
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus
- Strong desire to learn new things
- Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of professional pride and individual accountability
