Role: Full-Stack developer Location: Chicago, IL or NY Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description:- Summary The team is looking for Full-Stack developer to build state-of-the-art technological tools that bring trading strategies to life. Should have experience in managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment. Capital markets/Asset management/Financial services Experience Responsibilities
- Develop robust, architecturally sound technological solutions for the fixed income front office teams
- Intellectual curiosity and passion for solving challenging problems using technology
- Collaborate with the stakeholders, the users, the build team and other development partners to implement state-of-the-art technological tools.
- Execute the firm's strategic investment technology strategy
- Contribute to new technology initiatives while supporting existing technology
- Collaborate within the development team to drive ideal technology solutions
- Seamlessly partner with Application Service Delivery group, who have accountability for Delivery & Service Management
- BS or BA Degree or relevant work experience
- Experience developing applications in .Net/ASP.Net/Core and C#
- Experience working on either Angular or React.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server or any other RDBMS
- Experience in Python is a plus.
- Experience building RESTful APIs is a plus
- Experience developing on AWS or Azure is a plus
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment a plus
- Financial industry knowledge is a plus
- Strong desire to learn new things
- Strong oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of professional pride and individual accountability
