Title: HRIS Project Manager Duration: 1 year with possible extension. Location: Chicago/Orland Park Hybrid (Must live in Chicago) Job Description below: Government Sector ERP Financials Project Manager Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Financials Project Manager with 7-10 years of experience managing several implementation efforts
- Prior experience working with state or local governments and municipal agency clients
- Current experience with cloud-based implementations of one or more of the leading Software-as-a-Service ERP systems (e.g., Infor, Lawson, SAP, Oracle, Workday, Sage, Tyler Munis, PeopleSoft, etc.
- Someone who can work well with others (PMO type environment)
- ERP Implementation Experience specific to HR Systems (3-4 times at minimum)
- Experience working in the Public Sector
- Someone who comes from a Consulting background (A lot of their employees have big 5 type backgrounds)
- Willing to take someone who is slightly more junior in their career as long as they have the right go-getter attitude
- Strong Project Management skills
- Manage multiple ERP Financial project workstreams across the full Systems Development Lifecycle (e.g., application configuration, business process alignment, data conversion, systems integration, quality assurance and testing, organizational change management, training, communications, etc.)
- Manage a Business Analyst direct report and direct daily responsibilities
- Oversight of ERP software vendor implementation team to ensure timely completion of high-quality project deliverables and resolution on bugs and other issues
- Serve as the client advocate with the ERP software vendor
- Coordinate client IT and departmental business operations staff to complete client deliverables
- Lead and coordinate project planning sessions with ERP software vendor Project Manager
- Facilitate and coordinate logistics for requirements gathering and analysis efforts with client SMEs
- Facilitate efforts to reengineer financial business processes around ERP software functionality
- Oversight and coordination of client resources to complete data conversion tasks
- Work with OCM Lead to develop and execute End-user Training and Communications Plans
- PMP Certification is a plus
- Exposure to organizational change management and Pro-Si change management
