RG19363Position: iOS Developer Location: Chicago, IL Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 + Excellent Benefits + Relocation AssistanceJob Description:This Client is looking for a Senior Mobile Applications Developer who wants to make an impact in the medical and education space. They are seeking an experienced developer who will help them build and enhance mobile applications that are used by thousands of healthcare providers and patients worldwide for the latest in acute and long-term care facilities. They provide those capabilities to education professionals on school campuses and classroom environments. You will participate in the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of mobile applications. You will be passionate about mobile development and will be able to solve difficult technical problems in a fast-paced, agile environment, integrating with RESTful API back-end services.Responsibilities:Architect and design complex, highly interactive iOS and Android mobile application solutions.Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle from requirements review to product verification.Help to grow our automation test capability.Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a clear understanding of development best practices.Create or review: Software architecture and detailed design documents. Software verification plans. Software build and deployment plans. Drive upstream code quality initiatives.Work with the system/software architect to design and code solutions.Work with verification and validation engineers to resolve test failures.Work with the technical support group to troubleshoot field problems.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.5+ years of hands-on experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android operating systems.Understand iOS & Android interface components and differences between those platformsHave experience with mobile application development, debugging, troubleshooting and abstract problem-solvingExperience with automation testing for mobile applications.Experience mentoring and leading a team of developers is a huge plus.Experience writing robust, pragmatic code following design patterns/anti-patterns.Experience with the current version of the iOS and/or Android SDKs.5+ years of experience with many of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, C#, C, HTML5, Python, Objective-C.Experience using cross-platform framework Xamarin.Experience Flutter, Kotlin, React Native, Swift a plus.Experience with HTML5 and CSS.Experience with various app deployment mechanisms including MDM solutions.Experience with Azure DevOps.Experience with Git-based source control.Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline for mobile applications.Experience working with product managers, QA, designers and business stakeholders.Experience with Agile methodologies to align with business priorities, break down work into Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and iterate quickly on product changes.
