Title: IT Project Manager
Mandatory skills:IT Service Desk,IT project management, project management,Scrum master,project management tools, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project,Agile tool sets Jira, Confluence,ITIL,Change Management,respective channels like web portals, communities, chats Description: Client is looking for a skilled Project Manager for the Knowledge Search Project:An accumulation and management of a knowledge repository, and the delivery of that knowledge through an interface or the integration through respective channels like web portals, communities and chatsThis role includes overall project management, communications, developing and maintaining project roadmaps, schedules etc.as well as facilitating the project teams’ daily work and removing obstacles or impediments faced by the team.Role & Duties:Ensure overall successful project delivery (on-time, on-budget, high quality, meeting business outcomes)Identification and management of project risks and issues, ensuring risk owners are identified and held accountable for regular updates.Drive the project schedule, identifying potential delays as a result of risks and issues.Manage the overall test and deployment activities, tracking defects and removing roadblocks that may impact go-live activities.Collaborate with project and program leads to create overarching project charter, communication plan, delivery timelines, detailed schedules and resources requirementsProvides timely updates to the IT leads, functional leads, IT PMO, and key stakeholders by producing regular status reports and steering governance updatesFacilitate the teams daily work including all the scheduled meetingsCreate a collaborative environment which allows the team and stakeholders to interact closelyRemove the obstacles or impediments faced by the team in its workMentor the team members to adopt truly Agile mindset, including ownership, self-management and empowermentExpected Skills:Excellent People skills: a combination of skills including an ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflict, be able to work with cross-functional teamsProject management skills: create and execute project plans, proactively manage risks/issues, maintain compliance with project management processes, an eye for detail, independently maintain project documentation, drive follow-up on open actions etc.Excellent oral and written communication skills: Identifies opportunities or problems and acts quickly and decisively to respond to the situation. Ability to drive productive conversations and team meetings.
