Position: Linux Systems Administrator - Financial ServicesLocation: Chicago, IL Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000 + Excellent Benefits You must be local to the Chicagoland area as this is a Hybrid position with time spent in office as well as remotely.Job Description:Linux System Administrator hybrid role with a well- established proprietary trading firm in downtown Chicago with a collaborative/team environment. Great growth potential and Excellent benefits and perks.Responsibilities:Optimizing system stability and performance on critical Linux trading systems.Researching and implementing new systems that improve our visibility into our deployed software and infrastructure.Maintaining and monitoring servers environments, virtual machines, storage and other associated hardware components.Troubleshooting and providing support with managed systems and tools.Qualifications:Experience building and maintaining Linux OS Environments (CentOS, Debian).Experience writing Python and Bash scripts to troubleshoot and automate server issues.Experience with configurations tools (Ansible, Puppet).Preferred Additional Skills:Knowledge of Git tools.Experience working on hardware servers.3+ years of financial industry experience.
