Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) supports several lines of businesses that include Commercial Bank, Business Banking, Global Wealth Management, and Investment Bank. Located in Chicago, Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries Documentation Preparation (MMBSI Doc Prep) is a group, within WLS, is a high-volume production-based operation function responsible for creating commercial documentation through the use of HotDocs for bilateral commercial loan products. The team also performs necessary due diligence items and identities potential documentation or collateral problems.Located in Chicago, Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries Documentation Preparation (MMBSI Doc Prep) is a group, within WLS, is a high-volume production-based operation function responsible for creating commercial documentation through the use of HotDocs for bilateral commercial loan products. The team also performs necessary due diligence items and identities potential documentation or collateral problems.MMBSI Doc Prep requires attention to detail, ability to interpret legal/credit documents, knowledge of risk management, collateral perfection, compliance/regulatory requirements, and works with a sense of urgency.The Loan Origination Specialist III is an experienced mid-level processing role within MMBSI Doc Prep. The candidate filling this position will be responsible for mid-complexity, fast-paced, interpret, understanding, documentation, due diligence, and collateral. Individual must have eye for detail, ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively, excellent communication skills, problem solving, and possess a desire to own and resolve items. Career progression is based on the following performance metrics: knowledge, skills, productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, and contributions to the team.Job Responsibilities:Daily Responsibilities (include, not limited to):Review and analyze terms, conditions, and financial components in the approval documentation

Compare existing documentation against approvals

Determine necessary documentation, identify any discrepancies or documentation exceptions

Maintain prompt and proactive communication with business partners/internal legal as to status of the requested case

Minimize credit and business risk through awareness of procedure, compliance, and bank policy

Participating in projects and working groups as required

Responsible for meeting service level expectations in addition to team, individual productivity, and quality goal

QualificationsSuccessful completion of all periodic High Value Business Entitlements (HBVE) background checks

Prior loan operations and/or quality control experience in a banking or financial services industry preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

Ability to adapt to internal tracking and monitoring systems.

Working knowledge of loan documents, entity documents or ability to understand legal terms found within promissory notes, credit agreements, collateral documents, etc.

Exceptional customer service skills including excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize workloads while working within tight service levels.

Manage complex requests with minimum supervision and independently make decision related to process

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work in a team environment

Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy with completed work

Ability to consistently maintain high performance levels in stressful situations and high-volume peaks

Ability to think outside the box and generate ideas for process improvements
