Please read our notice on the increase of recruitment scams in the industry. 6+ Month Contract With Possible Extensions and Conversion to Direct Hire - Position: Project Manager- Location: Remote- Travel: In the future could be 10% travelThe M&A Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing the integration of acquisitions. This role will lead the M&A Project Management Office and is an integral part of the Integration Management Office (IMO), reporting directly to the Director, Integration Management Office. The M&A Program Manager will provide oversight and guidance to the PMO to ensure company standards for quality, timeline, and budget are met and strategic synergies are achieved. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management Office Leadership:
    • Drive key initiatives and provide oversight and guidance to the M&A Project Management Office team for the effective and timeline execution of projects / programs
    • Manage the overall alignment of resources, timelines, and schedules to ensure successful integrations
    • Serve as the main point of escalation for all project management related issues
  • Program Management:
    • Manage scheduling and allocation of team resources to meet integration deadlines
    • Keep leadership informed of any changes related to integration projects
    • Coordinate with Integration Program Directors and others within the M&A Integration team to create timelines, track progress, adjust to changes, and ensure integration timelines are met
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Facilitate continuous improvement of M&A Integration processes and deliverables aligned with performance excellence initiatives and through execution of a post-mortem feedback loop
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to create a better, faster, easier integration experience for each M&A deal
  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Manage costs and the demand and resource capacity for the team resources, leveraging external resources as needed to handle spikes in demand
    • Attract and develop a highly skilled team, including participating in team member onboarding and development
    • Demonstrate Operations and Technology Leadership Behaviors (one team, build trust, customer-driven, future-focused, innovate daily, and be curious) in all actions and ways of working, and coach their organization on the behaviors
    • Provide periodic review of team member performance using both formal and informal mechanisms
    • Mentor team members in best practices and provide skill development
Key Success Measurements:
  • Evaluate and staff the M&A Project Management Office with the resources needed to ensure integration timelines are met
  • Ensure acquisitions are integrated into the client platform within the expected quality, timeline, and budget
  • Meet CSAT expectations for stakeholder satisfaction related to the integration experience
  • Eliminate all internal escalations to the Executive Management team from seller stakeholders or regional leaders
Qualifications:
  • Well-grounded in project management and a solid understanding of how the M&A integration process works
  • 8+ years of program and project management with experience in delivering large scale programs
  • 3+ years working in a matrix organization, effectively communicating, collaborating, and executing with teams not under direct control bringing new acquisitions into a buyer company and familiarity with the M&A process steps
  • Experience delivering multiple (6 or more) complex initiatives concurrently while demonstrating a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage a team of project managers and deliver integration results within expected timelines
  • Agent of change mentality: actively seeks and recognizes opportunities to change processes or behaviors to create more value through integration process improvements or technology changes
  • Undergraduate degree in business management, engineering, or related discipline
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
