- Be comfortable working in datacenters and server rooms large and small during buildouts
- Scripting experience : Perl, python, bash, ksh, and/or PowerShell
- Experience with data collection, log analysis as well as performing root cause analysis
- Architecting, implementing, and operating large scale Linux-based HPC, Infrastructure and Parallel file systems.
- Monitor installation of software releases, patches of the operating system, and third-party utilities with emphasis on overall system security

- High Throughput / low latency Network solutions such as Infiniband and 100GbE / 40 GbE /10GbE. Experience with Juniper and Mellanox networks is preferred not required.
- Schedulers such as UGE (SGE), SLRUM, PBS, and LSF
- Cluster management tools such as Bright Computing, Rocks, OpenHPC
- Parallel File systems such as Lustre, Spectrum Scale (GPFS)
