Eclaro’s customer in Chicago is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team and support their global networks and multi-vendor Data Centers. This Network Engineer will have experience with Cisco, Arista, F5 & Fortinet, knowledge of Meraki SD-WAN, and experience in regulated, and highly transactional environments.

This is a full time, hybrid opportunity

Responsibilities:
  • To configure infrastructure elements to aid platform delivery, and provide operational
  • escalation for IG's global network.
  • Delivery of project based work and operational service requests in support of the
  • engineering and operational teams.
  • Responsible for the configuration and support of the local DC infrastructure
  • Proactive monitoring of the infrastructure using various monitoring tools including
  • SolarWinds product Set.
  • Part of the follow-the-sun operational support model, providing support to global
  • infrastructure.
  • Proactive identification of underlying issues and developing the plan to resolve the underlying issue or risk.

Essential Skills and Attributes:
  • 8 Years+ Experience with Exposure to working with multi-vendor Data Center
  • environment i.e. Cisco, Arista, BIG-IP, Fortinet
  • Practical exposure on Meraki SD-WAN and Wireless solution
  • Knowledge on Zscaler products - ZIA/ZPA
  • Proficient with Packet level analysis AND possess knowledge on products like
  • ExtraHop, Corvile
  • Strong Hands-on exposure on load balancing Product, specifically F5 load
  • balancers.
  • Great understanding and exposure on Networking architectures, industry best
  • practice routing and switching design principles (i.e. Arista Leaf & Spine Model
  • vxLANing, MLAGing)
  • Hands-on experience with routing protocols (OSPF, multicast and BGP) and
  • switching protocols (VLans, STP, RSTP, VTP, trunking, CEF).
  • ITIL Framework knowledge

Desirable Skills:

Working in

a regulated Finance or Exchange environment
