Connolly Center for Cancer and Specialty Care and the Diamond Headache Clinic. What You Will DoPerform activities or tasks in specialty pharmacy services. Perform specialized areas as medicine history, buyer and other inventory related areas, nuclear, and PAP as a pharmacy technician.Refill and maintain automated dispensing system.
Prepare orders and maintains inventory for the specialty pharmacy areas.
Repackage bulk medications.
Receive and store incoming supplies.
Serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing necessary information.
What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required:
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
Education:
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required
