IntroductionAs an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesCollaboratively plan, design, develop, publish, and maintain automation assets to provision and configure cloud platform resources on IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure hypervisors
Develop continuous delivery pipelines using DevOps and GitOps principles and practices
Influence architecture and design to continuously improve security, performance, and resiliency of the defined platform engineering solutions
Publish reference architecture, best practices, and technical documentation to design and deploy customized environments and landing zones for Hybrid and Multicloud solutions
Be hands-on with coding and troubleshoot. Collaboratively plan, design, develop, publish, and maintain automation assets to provision and configure cloud platform resources on IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure hypervisors
Develop continuous delivery pipelines using DevOps and GitOps principles and practices

Required Technical and Professional Expertise4+ years of work experience as a Cloud Solutions Engineer with development and/or deployment of cloud application workloads to AWS/Azure/IBM Cloud platforms
4+ years of experience in automation scripts development using Terraform, Ansible, and AWS Cloud Formation
4+ years of Python or GoLang programming experience
4+ years of experience working with Kubernetes platform and writing K8s resource manifests and Helm packages.
3+ years of development experience with Tekton or Jenkins pipelines.
Strong understanding of GitOps-based pipeline design and development.
One or more certifications in OpenShift, AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, GCP or Hashicorp Terraform
Hands-on experience or proficiency in Pulumi, Portworx, OCS/ODF
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise7+ years of experience as a Cloud Solutions Engineer with solution architecture, design, development and deployment of cloud application workloads to AWS/Azure/IBM Cloud platforms
Strong hands-on experience with designing and deploying solutions using Software-defined Network and Storage technologies.
Proficiency in designing and deploying HPC or large-scale computing solutions on AWS/Azure/IBM Cloud hyperscalers.
Hands-on experience in OpenShift administration including provisioning, operating and maintaining OpenShift clusters utilizing various provisioning, monitoring, logging and reporting tools
Hands-on experience in configuring and deploying OpenShift control and data planes with setup and configuration of authentication and role-based access control in OpenShift.
Experience with Kubernetes Operators, Kustomize, Argo CD, Flux CD
