What We'll Bring:Product Designers at TransUnion bring an immersive visualization strategy and systematic approach to the projects we take on for our direct-to-consumer channel. In this specific role you will be counted on to work closely with Product UX Strategists, Product Owners, and Developers to quickly concept, test and iterate on different UX designs.You'll play a pivotal role in helping redesign some of our flagships products and be asked to work independently with product and development teams ensuring they are implementing high-quality UI across their sprints. It will be critical that you have a solid understanding of the agile process and how to collaborate with cross-functional team members. Your role will bring the best practices in UI web and app standards including on-trend interaction patterns, accessibility design, visual design trends, and component libraries.We are a people-first design community and are always putting ourselves in the shoes of the consumers every step of the way. What You'll Bring:

What we are looking for:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Experience Design, HCI, Interaction design, and/or related design experience
  • One to three years of corporate, agency, or freelance experience designing interfaces, products, and other complex information experience systems for B2C solutions. (Amazing school projects also acceptable)
  • Strong and diverse portfolio of contemporary digital design, visual design and typography, with a proclivity for systems and conceptual thinking.
  • Able to function, adapt and succeed in a constantly changing, fast paced environment
  • An understanding of the Design Thinking methodology.
  • An understanding of UX/UI, Interaction principles, and patterns for native mobile and responsible web design across devices
  • A portfolio that showcases a discovery involved project where you were partnering with a researcher/UX lead/etc. from research to ideation to wireframing/rapid prototyping
  • Ability to take a concept and fully flush out a design component library
  • Understanding of how to work in an agile environment
  • Experience with a diverse set of industry software, including Sketch, Adobe CS, InVision
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus
  • Comfortable with working remotely
  • Most importantly, an open, collaborative and coachable attitude from other colleagues.

Impact You'll Make:
  • You'll be part of a growing organization design team that's responsible for crafting the next generation of customer experience both in the B2B and B2C space.
  • You'll work with Product Managers to analyze business requirements and user stories to scope creative and front-end needs
  • You'll build and maintain brand collateral, creative, and UI assets up to an including custom iconography, illustrations, and animation
  • You'll have exposure to some of the best design communities in Chicago
