What We'll Bring:If you're passionate about building world-class products, working with driven teams, and solving real problems for real customers, you'll fit right in.

Product Designers at TransUnion bring a rigorous discipline to our work. We look for a healthy curiosity for how things work, a dedication to collaborate towards a shared vision and an aspiration to learn and grow in your design career. If you have a passion for design and an aptitude to work in a collaborative environment, and can demonstrate empathy and strong advocacy for our users, while balancing the vision and constraints of engineering, then this might be the role for you!

In addition to our flagship credit products, we serve individuals and small business audiences by providing identity theft protection, fraud protection, and security services.

What You'll Bring:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in both direct-to-consumer and B2B channels on some of our newest identity protection experiences where we are at the forefront of keeping people's identities safe and secured.

You will be responsible for tackling complex problems and exploring design approaches that translate to elegant user experiences. This includes building workflows and experiences for web and mobile, collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform deliverables, and both utilizing and helping evolve our design system. This position reports directly to the Product Design Manager.

In a typical week, you can expect to meet with UX researchers on the latest insights, work alongside engineers on the current development efforts, and learn from product managers to understand where we're going next. You will leverage your skill set to move the business forward.

We are a people-first design community and are always putting ourselves in the shoes of the customer every step of the way. We do not design for screens but for individuals. The moment you begin your journey with us is the moment you represent the user in every emotional aspect.

Simply put; you will work with great people, solve meaningful problems, and grow in your career.

Impact You'll Make:

Requirements:
  • Possess a command of design process, methods, and activities
  • Demonstrate clear outcomes-oriented decision-making in your designs that balance business goals and user needs
  • Ability to clearly communicate concepts and design rationale through sketches, wireframes, high fidelity comps, prototypes, and presentations
  • A portfolio showcasing experience in user experience, interaction, and visual design. The portfolio should include process and outcomes
  • A bias for action and the ability to influence and build consensus in a sometimes-ambiguous environment and within diverse teams
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver solutions to the market, including collaborating with engineers and product managers
  • Ability to maintain a structured working style in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Design from first principles and a keen sense of design taste
  • Maintain a positive attitude, open mind, compassionate curiosity, and a desire to learn and collaborate
  • Experience with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision Studio, Adobe XD, or Figma
