What We'll Bring:The Consumer Interactive team at TransUnion is focused providing tools, resources and education to help consumers manage their credit health, achieve their financial goals, and protect their identity.

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner who will be part of a team that works closely with Sales and our Customers as well as with our technology team to deliver our high quality hosted solutions for our Customers. You will support our Consumer Interactive business by translating our Customer's needs into solutions that to bring best in class products and platform to consumers.

What You'll Bring:
  • Experience with collaborating with product managers, technical team, internal and external business stakeholders (including Sales and Customers) to refine the Program Increment (PI) feature backlog, support strategic planning efforts, and execute tactical activities
  • Experience in translating complex business needs into requirements for technical team by decomposing features into user stories
  • Experience in working with internal teams to plan and execute the launch of new features, taking into consideration any interdependencies
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to measure impact of changes
  • At least 3 or more years of experience as a Product Owner working in an Agile environment
  • At least 5 years of experience working with web-based products

Impact You'll Make:
  • Maintain and prioritize the user story backlog and work with development, architecture/IT, and stakeholder teams to refine user stories to meet the Definition of Ready
  • Work closely with Sales and Customers to understand, interpret, and prioritize customer needs through our agile processes
  • Collaborate with UI/UX team to provide vision to our customers on best in class experience we can offer to their consumers
  • Provide recommendations, guidance and direction to the technology teams during the development cycle and participate in all scrum ceremonies. Be available and ready to make quick, well informed team-level decisions on behalf of stakeholders and the business
  • Perform Product Owner acceptance reviews, validate if user stories meet the Definition of Done, and accept stories as 'Done'
  • Triage feedback and work to resolve any issues arising from newly released products and features.
  • Develop product documentation
  • Be able to translate technical details into business friendly terms.
