We have an immediate need for a Product Owner, Customer Data Platform to join a biopharmaceutical company thatspecializes in medical equipment, pharmacy and biotech products. This is a direct hire, hybrid capable role. Our client’s mission is to discover and deliver innovative medicines that solve serious health issues today and address the medical challenges of tomorrow. As a Product Owner, you will act as liaison between the Marketing Operations and the Marketing Technology teams, leading deep dive sessions to understand the business/marketing needs, roadmap, priorities, market trends & insights and contribute to define the strategic direction, roadmap, and implementation plan for the Customer Data Platform (CDP).
What You Will Do:- Gather Business capability requirements and use cases and translate them into actionable user stories for IT development.
- Proactively partner with solution leads, technology services, and other enterprise architects to design scalable, flexible, and supportable technical systems that add business value and are aligned with the technology strategy as well as enterprise patterns and standards.
- Determine all desired orchestration for system integrations with Marketing Activation, Customer Relationship Platform etc. and identify required data for each system (e.g., event collection, event and customer IDs, system ID, etc.) to enable business use cases for personalized marketing.
- Support and periodically lead consultative engagements with business units and regional marketing stakeholders regarding advanced CDP segmentation, activation, personalization, and new capabilities.
- Bachelor's Degree with 7 years’ experience; Master's Degree with 6 years’ experience; PhD with 2 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
- 6+ years of work experience including software product management, business analysis, project/portfolio management, and strategic planning in the Digital Marketing technology area.
- Experience to include project management, 1-2 years supervisory experience, employee development, business, and process experience.
- 3+ years working with data and analytics products.
- Understands the global pharmaceutical market including role of providers, patients, payers, distributors, and policy makers as well as knowledge of global regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge/experience with CDP tools like Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Segment, Salesforce Interaction Studio, Tealium.
