RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst in Chicago, IL.

Summary:The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analysts are in charge of ensuring that software packages contain no errors by analyzing development data. They implement test plans using diverse troubleshooting computer applications. They must pay strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities: Review functional and design specification to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables Develop Test Plan to match Business Requirements Write, implement, and document test cases to identify bugs and rewrite requirements Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate robustness and functionality of products Work with the project team to get test data setup for testing Execute Manual test cases and leverage Automated test cases wherever possible Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant information to the team leads or project stakeholders Open defects, Retest fixed defects, identify regression test scope for fixed defects Documents testing according to required procedures Execute testing according to required procedures to meet quality standards Must assure the capture and retention of testing artifacts for audit purposes Coordinate IT and UAT testing Perform Functional, Integration, and Regression Testing

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 2 - 4 years of related experience Ability to peer review test cases Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies Ability to interact with all team members with confidence Ability to multi-task and manage priorities to support multiple concurrent project responsibilities Strong communication/documentation skills (Written/Verbal) Experience in MS Office suite (Word / Excel / Visio) Ability to work with a diverse team Strong Analytical skills Initiative and ability to build relationships with Project and system stakeholders Excellent organizational, data gathering, documentation and follow-up skills Position may require the need to travel to other branch or meeting locations
