My client is a large trucking company that offers OTR transportation. They also have another division called Logistics Services with an offering of (4) four different services: (2) person teams; brokerage operations; dedicated carriage; and warehouse/distribution services. They are growing fast which drives a lot of upward job opportunity.
Job Location: Remote
Chicago, IL (also stretch up to the Milwaukee, WI area)
Job Responsibilities
- Sell truck brokerage, asset based OTR trucking, and contract logistics (team up w/Logistics Sls Dir). Enterprise sales allowed.
- The sales region that is assigned to you is yours.
Job Requirements:
- Two senior roles: must have 5-12 yrs. of selling truck, asset & brokerage sales experience focused on very large (National) accounts like General Mills & P&G.
- Two junior roles: 2-5 yrs. experience in truck, asset & brokerage sales.
- Bachelor Degree required.
Pay / Benefits:
- $90K - $130K Two Senior Roles (amt of experience)
- $65K - $85K Two Jr roles (amt of experience)
- $12K Signing bonus!
- Commission Expectations – no cap on commission & it is residual
- role – 1st yr. $10K-$15K; 2nd/3rd yrs. $15K-$50K (no cap)
- Sr role – 1st Yr. $32.5K; 2nd /3rd yrs. $32.5K-$67K (no cap)
- Car Allowance $600/mo. Plus gas.
