- Key roles in the Competence Centers are the Competence Group Manager, Team Lead , Business Analyst, Technical Lead and Senior Project Manager.
- The Senior Project Manager is responsible as integrator for IT delivery projects that depend for their delivery on multiple output based st reams spanning multiple vendors.
- He / She ensures that the output of the various streams is aligned and in pace with expected overall project results whilst managing the interdependencies.
- The Senior Project Manager is end to end responsible for all output based contracts and agreements within one project (typically 1 Mio Euro's).
- In this role, he / she will be the delegate of the IT delivery manager of the platform and ensures communication to other related stakeholders.
- Per platform, one prime vendor is selected but in case a project is exceeding a predefined threshold, the prime vendor and challenger will bid on the project.
- The Senior Project Manager can be requested to lead this process.
- Comprehensive SAP background across a variety of modules

- Expert in all aspects of Project Management
- Experienced across a variety of business sectors
- Expert in the use of planning tools such as MS Project
- A background in business or application processing would be an advantage
- Delivery of assigned SAP projects in line with contractual commitments, budgets and client expectations.
- Be responsible for the day to day management of large projects in SAP portfolio defining and managing scope, budget, timelines and quality, with full responsibility and authority to complete the assigned project using traditional and agile methodologies.
- Maintain project plans, anticipates, mitigates and handles project risks and ensures project timelines and budgets
- Lead project teams consisting of multi-functional, global and virtual groups and directly supervises staff, ensuring the appropriate expectations, principles, structures, tools and responsibilities are in place to deliver the plan and deliver excellence
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as the Daily Stand-up, Iteration Planning, System Demos, and Iteration Retrospective.
- Support the Product Owner to manage the backlog and guide the team in balancing the priorities and scope.
