We are hiring for a Senior Business Analyst for one of our Client (A well known Not for profit organisation - healthcare analytics) at Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Reports To: Director, Analytics &Business Intelligence

Essential Functions:

Business Requirements & Documentation (40%)
Operational System Support (30%)
System Testing (20%)
Reporting (10%)

Candidate Profile

BS or BA degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience is required.

Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with analysis and problem definition in state-of-the-art information technology as it pertains to business applications and processes.

Demonstrated ability evaluating new technology and how it can improve business processes. Must have experience documenting complex business systems problems and be able to provide recommendations and research of industry trends, business products, performance analysis, feasibility, measurable key performance indicators and cost impact.

Polished communication skills: demonstrated ability to write and discuss complex business documents.

Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in business and functional requirements analysis, including use case development, workflow and data flow modeling, and software design in a web environment.

Demonstrated ability identifying what the business needs vs what the business wants; must be able to effectively explain the difference between the two concepts while gathering business requirements.

Demonstrated ability to understand general technical design specifications and architecture in order to identify potential challenges with supporting the identified business requirements. In addition, must be able to proactively identify potential risks associated with the proposed technology solution in relation to the identified business requirements.

Proactively initiates, develops and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external team members to achieve results. Must be able to quickly secure the trust of business stakeholders in relation to an understanding of their business.

High emotional intelligence is required. Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience. Ability to adjust communication style to different audiences and roles.
