To assist in this technology transformation by developing critical data analytics that is important to infrastructure services we are seeking hands-on innovators in this transformative work for both TIAA and its customers.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Takes responsibility for the ownership of the service advancement of Data Protection Services Technical capability for both On-Premises and Multi Cloud.

Leads engagement with Enterprise Hosting Services, Cloud and Application Development Teams to understand technical direction and ensure strategic and operational alignment around support and maintenance & lifecycle management of Data Protection Solution in the cloud.

Sets up own and relevant IT Policy Standards in line with TIAA’s and Industries best practices.

Keeps up to date with latest and relevant technology, tools, standards, policies and governance for Data Protection Services Program

Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement to reduce risks and optimize efficiency and improve standards.

Leads efforts to collaborate with IT Senior Leaders and Senior Level Business Stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements and continuously adapt Data Protection Services Program to meet changing risks, requirements and opportunities.

Continuously identify opportunities to improve and optimize processes, procedures, and program scope to ensure best value to DPS Clients.

Provides leadership on end-to-end solution design development, engineering and architecting for Data Protection Services roadmap planning and implementation.

Creates and maintains engineering design, operational and run books documentations.

Prepares presentation materials, visual artifact and information repository that provides value to on-going projects and or business partners.

Leads or participates critical initiatives or projects for Data Protection Services

Practices agile methodology framework

Serves as Subject Matter Expert for Data Protection Technology

Acts as level 2 escalation engineer for any backup/recovery related issues

Remediates and maintains related security baseline and configuration for Data Protection Services Platform

Preferred Requirements:

Experience professional with at least 5+ years' experience in IT industry

Ability to design and document highly available, scalable systems in an agile Hybrid Cloud environment.

Knowledge and or experience with AWS Cloud Environment.

AWS, Azure, or Google Certification preferred.

Experience developing and managing a Data Protection Services and Backup Recovery Solution.

Experience planning, designing, and executing solutions in the Cloud.

Experience with recovery planning for IaaS/PaaS Cloud Solutions

Orchestration and automation of processes using development tools like Perl, Jason, Python and or Power Automate

Hands on experience with productivity software such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Power BI and others

In-depth knowledge on IT Infrastructure support (i.e., OS, Network, Storage)

Experience with any reporting and monitoring tools

Experience with Jira or equivalent tool

Data Protection Tools and storage systems

Infrastructure Architecture

System Management technologies

Documentation Skills

AWS, Azure and or Google Cloud knowledge

Automation/development Skills

Educational Requirements

University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Career Level9ICBase Pay Range: $120,400/yr. - $200,700/yr.Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
