Senior Manager - Private Markets

This role will work on the pension plan including portfolio investing assets. The candidate will have fiduciary responsibilities and work on private equity funds. It’s an amazing role where you will gain a broad base of experience in private equity investing. You must have strong analytical and data skills as you will work closely with the Trust Investments Committee.Position Responsibilities:Under the guidance of the Director - Private Markets, the Senior Manager-Private Markets will support the ongoing monitoring of existing portfolio investments for performance and risk management

Prepare and verify performance, prepare presentation materials for various committees, and document meetings and conference calls

Support the due diligence process on potential Private Equity investments including analysis of performance relative to benchmarks, determine the quality of management, verify performance and valuation of existing investments, review fund terms and conditions and assessing suitability for investment

Recommend changes in manager ratings due to performance, personnel, or business issues;

Maintain and build knowledge of Private Equity Investments through industry contacts and trade publications

Monitor global macro and micro economic, political, and investment trends and capital flows into the Private Equity markets and incorporate into staff and broader Trust Investments’ discussions and asset allocation reviews

Support year-end valuation and audit requirements; and the broad initiatives of the Trust Investments group

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Employer not willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s degree

3+ years of Prior private equity investment experience

Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Preliminary stages of the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA)
