Release Analyst (Contract to Hire / Remote) About the Role The transportation industry has no shortage of complex problems requiring creative solutions to scale efficiently. In this role, you will be supporting for scheduling, planning, and controlling the software's delivery process. As a Release Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Engineering and DevOps team to make them deliver the services on time, across multiple domains of the organizations and collaborating with internal/external customers as well as vendors. Responsibilities
- Supporting Release Plans for the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Supporting Releases Inception to Closure
- Identify Risks and Issues during Release Cycle
- Support Quality of the Deliverables for the Release
- Support Change Request Process
- Identify Release Interdependencies
- Collaborate with the Product Managers and Sr. Agile Project Managers / Agile Project Managers (APMs)
- Create and Process Metrics for effective management of the Release
- Identify process improvements required for the effective Release Management
- Create required Release Artifacts
- 3-5 years of Release Analyst experience handling enterprise level applications
- Highly analytical and organized
- Strong Planning, Resource and Stakeholder Management
- Adept at conflict resolution
- Exceptional communication skills
- Compassion, empathy, positivity, and passion
- Experience in Release / Program / Project Management
- Experience working with Smartsheets and Power BI Reports
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience in logistics industry
