Job Description This position is with a global company that is a leader in healthcare, creating breakthrough science to improve people's health. This position is looking for a senior software engineer leader that can demonstrate a high level of expertise in the React Native framework in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will provide hands on technical leadership across multiple agile scrum teams building mobile applications using React Native. This role is focused on engineering excellence and defining program-wide React Native best-practices and is not a HR related people management role. Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with TypeScript and experiences implementing React Native applications with TypeScript
- Expert In experience in designing scalable architectures for mobile applications and specifically developing React Native mobile applications
- Experience desired in other languages like Java, Swift, agile methodologies
- 10 years+ of work experience with a bachelors degree in a related field or 8 years of relevant experience with a master's degree in a related field.
- Strong analytics & problem-solving skills
- Expert-level understanding of engineering design patterns
- Expert level ability to provide thought leadership to other non-technical stakeholders in addition to engineers.
