Job Description

CapTech Workday Consultants work alongside our clients to help them maximize their Workday investment. CapTech is looking for experienced Workday administrators to join and bolster this expanding service offering. We support current Workday customers by optimizing their implementation, building complex reports and dashboards, and adopting new functionality. As a Senior Workday Consultant, you will play a central role in client engagement and serve as a subject matter expert for this rapidly developing technology. Prior Workday experience is required, but we will provide you the tools and training to become a skilled and well-rounded Workday Consultant.

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert in Workday platform to apply it to client engagements
  • Provide Workday expertise and support to customers
  • Lead all aspects of Workday engagements, from planning and design phases all the way to configuration, testing and deployment
  • Build custom reports and calculated fields
  • Update business processes and condition rules
  • Learn new areas of the Workday platform and apply new skills to client implementations
  • Work side-by-side with key business and technical stakeholders to elicit solution requirements, drive the solution design, and ensure the finished product meets the needs of the business
  • Quickly become familiar with client business challenges and technologies to act as a SME and trusted advisor to client stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the platform
  • Quickly establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and team members
  • Advocates for digital accessibility and inclusive design practices in all projects and client interactions.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience
  • 2+ years’ hands-on Workday experience with enterprise-level applications
  • Demonstrated functional experience in Workday HCM
  • Experience gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing and deploying solutions to meet client requirements
  • Experience leading projects and engagements to completion
  • Client-ready written and oral communications skills
  • Works well independently, and collaboratively in a team
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with complete lifecycle of enterprise projects

Preferred Skills:

  • 1+ years of Workday functional implementation experience
  • 2-5 years Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial software experience
  • Prior consulting experience
  • Workday Pro or Implementer certification
