Service Desk Supervisor

Reporting to the Director of IT Infrastructure and Security, the Service Desk Supervisor’s primary function is the oversight of the Technical Service Desk. Our Service Desk is staffed by skilled technicians, that engage with internal end users in need of service consultation to maintain operation of their onsite equipment in a timely manner. These requests are submitted via ConnectWise. Other responsibilities include affective team scheduling, ownership/creation of Service Desk policies and procedures, delivering on established KPIs and SLAs and distribution of policies and processes related to the Service Desk. You will also assist with ongoing management of the processes that govern Service Desk activities, engagement in the resolution of customer complaints, and ongoing development of the Service Desk technicians.

This is a full-time opportunity requiring you to be onsite Monday-Friday in Chicago, IL.

Qualifications
  • 1+ years of IT Supervisory experience required
  • Ability to create a department roadmap required
  • Understanding of ITIL fundamentals required, ITIL certification a nice to have
  • PMP certification nice to have
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
