Candidate design, develop, implement and maintain frontend trading applications. This would include development of desktop GUI applications, client services, trading related scripts, and other user facing software on Linux.
Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain frontend applications and services.
- Develop and maintain trading scripts and other application components.
- Participate with the team to design and implement an evolving application
- framework.
- 5+ years of C working experience
- Experience writing performance-critical C code to handle large volumes of
- data
- Experience with event driven frontend GUI development
- Experience with OOD design patterns
- Experience with multi-threaded programming
- Experience debugging and profiling applications with gdb, valgrind and other
- performance-related tools
- Comfortable with Linux environment and shell commands/scripts
- Previous experience in the Financial Industry and/or trading.
- Able to leverage new C functionality (C 11/14/17/20)
- Experience with SQL (Sybase, MySQL etc)
- Qt experience is desirable
- Python experience is desirable
- Google Protobuf experience is desirable
- Zero MQ experience is desirable
- GIT experience is desirable
