The Sr. Manager, Global Insider Cyber Threat Investigations will lead a globally dispersed team of professionals specialized in cybersecurity, investigations, and insider threat. The Manager will collaborate with leaders of Cybersecurity, Information Security, Employee Relations, Human Resources, Compliance and business units to secure TU information and information systems against insider threats.

What You'll Bring:
  • Experience managing globally dispersed teams of investigators for corporate or government entities
  • Creativity and problem solving ability
  • Previous experience leading teams and mentoring technical associates
  • At least three-years of experience conducting or leading insider cyber threat investigations
  • A thorough understanding of computer networking, endpoints, and servers
  • Experience with Insider Threat Tools, such as DLP security controls, SIEM, and UEBA
  • Experience identifying cybersecurity threats, exploitations and insider vulnerabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to represent TransUnion's Global Insider Threat Program (GITP) to stakeholders, provide direction to GITP team members, and engage with company employees
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders
  • Passion for innovation and the challenges of optimizing processes with limited resources

We'd Love to See
  • BS or BA degree preferably in computer security, cybersecurity or any combination of equivalent education, experience, and certified formal training
  • Long-duration government security clearances
  • Investigative certifications or trainings
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

Impact You'll Make:

The Sr. Manager of Global Insider Cyber Threat Investigations will lead a globally dispersed team of professionals specialized in cybersecurity, investigations, and insider threat. The Manager will create and continuously improve investigation standard operating procedures designed to identify facts about past insider threat activities. The investigation operations will be secure, discrete, and auditable, to protect the investigation subject, TU, and ensure sanctioned use of tools. The Sr. Manager will edit and publish insider investigation reports for use by the Chief Information Security Officer and applicable TransUnion organizations.

The Sr. Manager will lead interactions with internal customers and partners, such as Employee Relations, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, Corporate Investigations and business units. Sr. Manager will liaise with external security entities who may be related to investigation subjects by contractual agreements or governments where the investigation subject resides. The Manager will be expert in TU Information Security Policy, and familiar with other TU policy that bears on information or information systems. The Manager will remain aware of the cyber security requirements in governmental policy regulating the conduct of TU's business, in all nations and jurisdictions where TU maintains a workforce or third-party relationships. The Manager will manage the globally distributed team of investigators to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, TU policies, and cyber security and investigation best practices. The Sr. Manager will inform the proper organization of identified insider vulnerabilities when detected, so the vulnerabilities can be mitigated.
