MDMS is recruiting for a Systems Engineer focused on AS400 systems for a bank based in NJ and Chicago. You will be responsible for building and maintaining IBM i Series and AS400 systems throughout the bank. You will be the key resource for providing in-depth knowledge/expertise on the systems, and will drive projects across the organization using IBM i Series platforms. Please note that this is a hybrid role, 3 days per week on site.
Requirements: - 5+ years of experience working on IBM i Series and AS400 platforms. - Experience working in an enterprise-level production environment. Prior experience in the financial sector is a plus, but not required.- Experience in/knowledge of Network, Systems, Backup, Disaster Recovery, and other core technology.- Experience working cross-functionally with different technology, business, and leadership teams.- Knowledge of ITIL and Change Management processes. - Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.Vacancy expired!
