We have an Immediate need for Technical Project Manager in onsite Chicago, IL for Long Term Contract Opportunity

Job Description: Responsibilities:
  • Leading, planning, managing and directing a project team to accomplish the objectives of a project with limited, local objectives
  • Develops project plans with assigned tasks, milestones/deliverables and oversee budgets
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure /Application Teams to determine best methods to meet project objectives
  • Reports changes in project timelines, resources, or budget
  • Report risks and issues during the life of projects and create mitigation plans to remove any obstacles
  • May take part in auditing documentations of their peers
  • Strategic in developing, implementing and administering IT programs within functional areas
Required Skillsets
  • Strong experience with Agile (including Jira/ADO)
  • Experienced in executing multiple multi-year projects on data modernization solutions on data lake, data warehouse retirement, BI and Analytics
  • Awareness of Cloud solution stack and key solution building blocks (Azure). Should have excellent presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management and business executives Ability to influence direction of the projects, goals and client decisions
  • Ability to manage and maintain high level project plans and milestones with complexities Ability to drive engagement in a multi-vendor execution model
  • Experienced in financial and execution health tracking Good to have Awareness of data management, BI and Analytics solution principles and architecture
  • Awareness of best practices for automation in data and analytics space
  • Must have strong project management skills, and should understand various project methodologies, processes and standards. Has expertise in managing all phases of technology infrastructure projects from concept through implementation and maintenance to closure.
  • Responsible for structuring a project, performing the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate to large projects using a prescribed methodology.
  • Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules roles and resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans.
  • Assigns resources and tasks, and resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, development of standards, change control, customer support, and compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Should be responsible for project documentation, project schedule, meeting agendas, minutes, status reporting, etc.
  • Should be familiar with technology infrastructures Azure , Snowflake , Eagle as well as MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint
