Must have ARDMS and RVT certification This role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, provided you successfully complete all pre-employment requirements subject to the terms and conditions of the offer and meet the minimum eligibility requirements. Former associates of six months or less are not eligible. Candidates with 1+ year of experience are eligible for $7,500.00

Candidates with less than one year of experience are eligible for $3,000.00Must live within 60 minutes of the hospital in order to adhere to on call regulatory requirements. The hospital also hosts several centers of nationally recognized care, including the Chicago Institute of Advanced Bariatrics, the Mark M. Connolly Center for Cancer and Specialty Care and the Diamond Headache Clinic. What You Will DoPerform vascular diagnostic procedures to detect peripheral vascular disease or obstructions.Evaluate patient for presence of peripheral vascular disease by selecting most effective procedures within regulatory and compliance guidelines.

Perform appropriate diagnostic procedures, record patient test results, and report results.

Monitor patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities, or changes in patient responses.

Maintain adequate supplies and verify all equipment is in proper working condition; report deficiencies and failures.

Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.

Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.

Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers, and patient data/history).

Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and any other areas in department.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

One or more of the following:

Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty can be accepted

Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty can be accepted.

Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted for Radiologic Technologist issued by ARRT. Radiology Tech licensure issued by the IL Emergency Mgmt Agency required in combination with Radiologic Tech registration through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Education:High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
