If you are a forward-thinker and a curious intellectual, we welcome you to apply for your next exciting career challenge!Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Data Architect will be responsible for developing or assisting in development of IT Data Infrastructure and Modeling. The candidate will interact and communicate with leadership, technical staff, analysts, subject matter experts, and supporting team members, as well as the customers, on a broad range of technical, strategic, and project-related requests and issues. The candidate will document, normalize, characterize, and publish data across the enterprise as directed. The candidate will review and interpret the needs of State and Healthcare-related organizations and determine how to apply them to IT data solutions, advising customers how this will benefit them.The individual is expected to work with practice leadership staff and project staff, and also actively participate in multi-disciplinary solution sessions. This individual will contribute toward product development, project work, and operations, and work as a key contributor across collaborative and fast-growing teams. The ideal candidate will have some experience with security and quality standards.Preference for candidates located in Ann Arbor MI, Durham NC, or Columbus OH.Required Technical and Professional Expertise

4+ years of data architecture-related experience to include data modeling, data strategy, data visualization, and data normalization.

3+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, integrating, and evaluating data architecture related to projects in enterprise, government, and/or healthcare settings.

2+ years of experience designing and building relational databases, transactional databases, data warehouses, and multidimensional databases.

Excellent written and oral communication skills with clients, technical staff, management, subject matter experts, and supporting team members.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience developing strategies for data acquisition, archive recovery, and implementation of databases.

Experience with State government agencies and their supporting data architectures.

Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Resource Management, Information and Communications Technology, or related field from an accredited college/university preferred.

Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
